Mending Spirit Seeking Musicians to create videos for local nursing homes!

Mending Spirit is a local non-profit that helps bring art, artists, and art activities to difficult places. Many of our friends and contacts in nursing homes are still isolated in their rooms, and we've supported them by sending short videos of musicians performing songs, which the staff are then able to stream into their rooms!

We are looking for simple videos of people performing 1-2 songs. Covers of old favorites, instrumentals, original work--whatever makes you happy to perform will make the residents happy to hear and see. Begin your video by sending a message of kindness and caring. Hearing from real people personally has such a huge effect on helping people feel connected and cared for in this difficult time.

Mending Spirit is offering a small stipend to folks who send us videos that will work for this project, and prioritizing BIPOC artists.

Videos should be in .mp4 format if possible, but .mov also works.
